These batteries will last approximately one year. If the batteries need replacing, an audible low battery indicator will sound. This will sound at both the poolside alarm and the remote receiver.

The indoor and outdoor alarms both reach 85db within 11.5 feet. This is an effective safety measure to prevent accidental drownings.
